The Motorhome & Caravan Show returns to the NEC this October
The UK’s biggest leisure vehicle showcase is back at the NEC Birmingham from 13–18 October 2026—bringing together the newest campervans, motorhomes, caravans, accessories and touring inspiration under one roof.
If a new vehicle, a future conversion or a few carefully chosen upgrades are on your mind, the Motorhome & Caravan Show is one of the best places in the UK to get hands-on with the possibilities.
Spread across 11 NEC halls, this year’s show offers the first opportunity to compare many of the new-for-2027 motorhome, campervan, caravan and trailer-tent ranges side by side. That matters: photos and specifications can only tell you so much. Walking through a layout, trying the bed, opening the storage and judging whether a kitchen or lounge area works for your own style of touring is a much better way to narrow the shortlist.
More than just new vehicles
The big launches will naturally take centre stage, but the show is just as useful for owners looking to make their existing setup work harder.
Expect stands covering practical upgrades such as portable power, solar, security, Wi-Fi, levelling, outdoor furniture, cleaning products, covers and upholstery. Whether you are preparing a first campervan for weekends away or refining a well-travelled motorhome, it is a useful chance to see products in person and ask questions before buying.
Many exhibitors also offer show-only deals, although it is always worth doing your homework rather than being rushed into a purchase. Take measurements, write down the exact model or specification you need, and compare like for like.
A useful day out for planners
The show is not only for people ready to buy. It is a good place to collect ideas for a future conversion, compare compact campervan layouts, speak to manufacturers and dealers, and plan trips for the year ahead.
The Caravan and Motorhome Club will also be on hand with destination advice and free motorhome or towing experiences, subject to availability and conditions. For anyone feeling less confident about driving or towing, that practical support could be as valuable as the displays themselves.
The Camper Den’s show-day checklist
Before heading to Birmingham, make a note of:
Your non-negotiables: berths, payload, storage, daily-driver practicality, off-grid capability or towing needs.
The measurements that matter: garage height, parking space, bed length and the gear you want to carry.
The upgrades you genuinely need before next season.
A realistic budget, including accessories, insurance, servicing and campsite costs—not just the headline vehicle price.
The Motorhome & Caravan Show is open daily from 10am to 6pm, with parking included in the ticket price. Children aged 16 and under can attend free with a paying adult, though they still need a ticket.
